Spring Preview

I was at my parent's house today and their backyard looked very lush and green. I decided to take a look around and made a few discoveries.

Pussy Willows in the far back corner

My mom planted clippings a few years ago

Yellow tulip buds (and nice mulch we applied last fall)

These bulbs were going to be discarded, so I planted them in their yard - over 22 years ago.

Bachelor Button buds, seeded from a friend's plant 15 years ago.

In late April last year I wrote a post about their yard and how I felt that my hard work had paid off. The photos in that post show spring in full bloom. I thought it was nice to see these plants just getting started.
