The low point was going to the garden orientation Thursday night. I sat in a room with 10 others waiting for a presentation that never happened. We got an e-mail that explained the mix up the next day, but it was still disappointing.
So here is a photo I took while on a walk through the park last week. When I saw this today it made me realize that sometimes I spread my attention so far that I miss out on the small details. I like this photo for the colors and textures and the tiny colony of mushrooms growing on this old log. There is a perfection in nature that can always be counted on. This photo reminds me that sometimes I just need to change my focus.
